Addressing a workers meet here, Khandu assured them that when the new wage code bill is passed by Parliament, it will be soon implemented in the state.
He also said that if the new bill does not come up in this monsoon session of Parliament for approval or in the next session, the state government will come up with a good wage package in the budget session of the assembly.
The chief minister assured them to bring out a corrective policy on Voluntary Retirement Scheme as such schemes had failed in the past.
On compassionate appointment, Khandu said a clear cut policy would be brought out to address such issues.
