Ashok Singh was today re-elected president of the Uttar Pradesh unit of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) unopposed.
Besides Singh, 80 members of the national council of the party were also elected here, a party release said.
Singh who will be the state unit president for the third consecutive term asked partymen to get ready for all the coming elections in UP.
Speaking to partymen, he said a new committee of the unit will also be set up soon and all those who are given responsibilities will have to work dedicatedly for the party.
In the last Assembly polls in UP in 2012, the RJD had contested only on four seats and forfeited deposits on all with a vote percentage remaining less than 0.1 per cent.
