Asit Tripathy is the new home secy of Odisha

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha government today changed portfolio of 11 senior IAS officers including additional chief secretary in-charge of revenue department Taradatt.
Taradatt, a senior officer of 1983 batch was posted as the chief administrator KBK with additional charge of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.
Asit Tripathy, who returned from central deputation, was posted as the secretary of home department and was also given the additional charge of employment training and technical education.
G V V Sharma, a 1986 batch officer, would be the new principal secretary of general administration and was also given the additional charge of special relief commissioner (SRC).
Home department secretary C J Venugopal has been transfered and posted as the principal secretary of science and technology department.
Mona Shama, an officer of 1989 batch has been posted as the new principal secretary revenue and disaster management department. She was also given the additional charge of the Managing Director of OSDMA (Odisha State Disaster Management Authority).
D N Gupta would be the new Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in place of Mona Sharma. 1989 batch officer Pradeep Jena, principal secretary of Water Resources department, was given the additional charge of Information Technology.
Manoj Ahuja was new principal secretary of Cooperation department and was given the additional charge of Administrative Reforms.
General Administrative department special secretary Nitin Chandra has been transfered and posted as the new Commercial Tax Commissioner in place of Ahuja.
Chandra Sekhar Kumar was posted as the Transport Commissioner. 1997 batch officer Sanjay Kumar Singh was new revenue divisional commissioner (RDC) southern division.
