Assam Governor calls for toilet movement

Assam Governor P B Acharya today appealed for carrying forward the 'Toilet Movement' and work hard to keep the environment clean.
Launching the 'Swachh Bharat' and 'Asomor Nirmal aru Seuj Abhijan' at a market here, the Governor urged people to set up separate public toilets for women at difference public places including educational institutions.
He called upon people to build a clean, strong, prosperous and disease-free nation.
A cleaning campaign was also held on the occasion where the Governor along with the members of the public took up brooms to clean the roadsides.
