Assam students call upon Punjab governor
While interacting with the students, Patil said the tour was aimed at improving coordination with appropriate civil authorities at all levels.
Sharing their views, the students said they were having a memorable time visiting places of historical and academic interests.
Students team, led by one officer, one JCO and two NCOs of Army will visit Amritsar and Shimla also, an official spokesman said.
Major Kiran said this tour was organised by 12 Mahar Regiment under operation Sadbhavana for the year 2012-2013.
