AssistantPublicProsecutor held for taking bribe
An Assistant Public Prosecutor was arrested here by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking Rs 15,000 bribe for extending favours.
K Prasanna Lakshmi, Assistant Public Prosecutor of XIV Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Court was caught red-handed by the ACB officials at her office, when she demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant for extending official favour, an ACB release said here.
The bribe amount was recovered from the accused and she was arrested, it said.
