Aurangabad: PSI arrested while taking bribe on court premises

A police sub-inspector was caught red-handed by the ACB while accepting a bribe this evening here.
Superintendent of Police, ACB, D S Swami said the police officer Dagdu Balu Tadwi, attached to the MIDC Cidco police station, was trapped by the ACB sleuths while taking the bribe on the premises of District and Sessions Court.
He had demanded bribe for preparing the chargesheet against the complainant's brother in such a way that he could be acquitted by the court.
Tadwi was later arrested. Further probe is on.
