The driver, Umesh, allegedly committed suicide last night after a quarrel with his wife and in-laws, SHO Upendra Yadav said.
Umesh yesterday went to his in-laws living in Seemapuri where his wife Soni had been staying and insisted she come back to which which denied, the police official said.
He quarrelled with his in-laws and thrashed his wife and returned back to his house at Jawahar Nagar, he added.
Later, his wife made several calls at his mobile phone but they went unattended and today morning she rushed back to her home and found him hanging from the ceiling fan, police said.
