Aviva India appoints Trevor Bull as MD, Chief Executive

Aviva Life Insurance Company India today said it has appointed Trevor Bull as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The private life insurer said the appointment of Bull, who has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry across Asia and Europe, has received all necessary regulatory approvals.
"I am delighted to have been appointed as Managing Director and CEO of Aviva India. India continues to be one of the most exciting global insurance markets with significant unrealised potential. I am excited at the opportunity to work with the team here in further strengthening the business as we enter the next phase of growth," he said.

During his decades-long career, Bull has held key leadership positions in Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad, The Philippine American Life & General Insurance Company, Tata AIG Life Insurance, AIG Life Korea, ALICO Tokyo and Lutine Assurance Services, UK.
The insurer is a joint venture between India's Dabur Invest Corp and UK-based Aviva International Holdings.
