"Valayal" Hakim, under judicial custody in the 2013 Bengaluru BJP office bomb blast case, was today produced before a Sub-Judge court here in a case related to ransacking a government-run liquor outlet in Ukkadam in the city five years ago.
Hakim was brought by Karnataka Police and produced before 2nd Additional Sub-judge Umarani, who adjourned the case to November 5.
The accused was taken back to Bengaluru, police said.
Hakim, along with four others, were arrested for ransacking the liquor shop, which was near Ukkadam bus stand, as part of demand for closing it in 2010 and he was let out on bail.
Meanwhile, he was arrested in connection with the bomb blast case in BJP office in Malleswaram in Bengaluru in 2013 and was lodged in the Central Jail there.
