American band Backstreet Boys have ended a long running legal battle with former manager by accepting USD 99,000 settlement.
The group has also regained ownership of the master recordings of a number of their songs, including the 1995 hit 'I'll Never Break Your Heart', reported Contactmusic.
Lou Pearlman, the music mogul behind the 'I Want It That Way' hitmakers, was sentenced to 25 years behind bars in 2008 after being convicted of masterminding a half-billion-dollar scam.
The Backstreet Boys subsequently filed legal action against Pearlman, claiming they were owed almost USD 3.5 million, but a bankruptcy trustee for his beleaguered estate hit back, insisting there was a lack of evidence to back up their accusation.
The judge overseeing the case ordered the two sides to work out a deal earlier this year.
