Manpreet Singh Badal, Peoples Party of Punjab (PPP) supremo and estranged nephew of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will contest the Lok Sabha polls from Bathinda seat.
Manpreet said here today that he has already made up his mind to contest Lok Sabha polls from Bathinda, a seat at present represented by his relative Harsimrat Kaur Badal, daughter-in-law of Parkash Singh Badal.
He said he would contest the election with Congress support, but made it clear that PPP had not been merged into Congress.
He also dismissed as rumour reports that PPP was going to have truck with Aam Aadmi Party.
