Bajaj Finserv Q1 net profit rises 46% to Rs 467 crore

Financial services company Bajaj Finserv today reported 46.19 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 466.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The group's net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates in the April-June quarter of last fiscal was Rs 319.37 crore.

Total income of the group increased to Rs 2,211.86 crore for the quarter ended June, 2015 from Rs 1,629.93 crore in the three month period of 2014-15 fiscal.

On a standalone basis, Bajaj Finserv had posted a net profit of Rs 13.59 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal, up 70.5 per cent over same period last fiscal.

It had a net profit of Rs 7.97 crore in the first quarter of 2014-15.

Standalone total income increased to Rs 39.08 crore during the quarter from Rs 25.54 crore in the same period a year ago.

The company's shares closed 1.09 per cent down at Rs 1,675.25 apiece on the BSE.
