Balkar Singh SAD candidate from Kalanwali seat

Shiromani Akali Dal President and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced Balkar Singh Kalanwali as party candidate for Kalanwali (reserved) Assembly seat in Haryana, where polls are due on October 15.
Singh is a former SGPC member.
SAD is also contesting Ambala City seat while the remaining 88 seats would be fought by ally Indian National Lok Dal, according to Punjab Education Minister and party spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema.
