Bank manager held on graft charge

The CBI today arrested a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch manager Ajay Kumar Sinha on graft charges from his residence under Kochas police station area in Bihar's Rohtas district, an official said.
Acting on a complaint, a six-member CBI team raided Sinha's residence and caught him red-handed accepting Rs 1.5 lakh as bribe from one Ashish Kumar Keshari, CBI Inspector A K Jha said.
In a complaint lodged with the CBI DIG B K Singh, Keshari had charged the Sinha with demanding bribe for processing of loan application under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Yojana, he said.
The CBI sleuths also seized various documents from Sinha's office before taking him to Patna for interrogation, Jha added.
