A bank staff and two others have been arrested for allegedly withdrawing Rs 26,000 from the account of a customer by using his yet-to-be delivered ATM card at Alanganallur in the district.
Murali, a temporary staff in-charge of handling ATM cards, had delayed the delivery of the ATM card of the customer, Sankiah, and had used it to draw the money from ATM, police said today.
On a complaint, police registered a case and arrested Murali and his friends Thangapandi and Muthu.
