Barmer hottest in Rajasthan at 43 degrees Celsius

Dry weather conditions prevailed in Rajasthan today with Barmer being the hottest place at a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius, the MeT Department here said.
Barmer was followed by Jaisalmer with a maximum of 42 degrees Celsius, while the mercury in Sriganganagar settled at 41.4 degrees Celsius, it said.
Maximum temperatures of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Churu, Dabok, Jaipur and Ajmer were recorded as 41.3, 41.2, 40.9, 40.5, 39.8, 39 and 38.9 degrees Celsius respectively.
The weatherman has predicted duststorms/thunderstorms with rain very likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
