Baroda Pioneer AMC names Anthony Heredia as CEO

Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company (AMC) today said it has appointed Anthony Heredia as its chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Baroda Pioneer AMC, Heredia was the Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Pvt Ltd and was associated with the firm since 2007.
The appointment of Heredia, effective from today, is a significant step towards strengthening the management team of Baroda Pioneer AMC.
He has taken charge from Oliver Bilal, who was named as chief executive officer in January this year.
"We are pleased to have Anthony Heredia on board. His long-standing experience with leading MNCs in the asset management industry will be instrumental in helping us further fortify and build our business in India," the company's chairman Jack Lin said in a statement.

Baroda Pioneer AMC is a joint venture between two large financial services companies - Bank of Baroda and Pioneer Investments.
The company operates out of 40 locations in India and managed average assets of about Rs 7,225 crore for the quarter ended June, 2015.
