'Battalion' wins Nilgiris Derby Stakes

'Battalion', ridden by S Zervan and trained by Neil Darashah won the Nilgiris Derby Stakes (Grade-I), the chief event of the races held here today.
The winner is owned by Manjri Horse Breed's Farm Pvt.LTD & Mrs. Anneka Darashah.
Trainer R Foley saddled two winners while jockey C Umesh rode two winners.
Two favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
