Tournament's top scorer K Gopi struck the first goal for BDFA in the 4th minute when he placed the ball neatly from inside the penalty area to give his team 1-0 lead.
Striker Arun Pandey took a through pass from Vivekanand and dodged past two defenders before scoring the second goal for BDFA.
The eventual winners led 2-0 at half time.
Army XI tried hard in the second half to recover lost grounds, but its strikers Valal Teka, Ramu V and Subroto Sarkar failed to convert a number of opportunities coming their way.
