Bedi, currently on a five-day visit to Karaikal, rode a bicycle to reach the temple from the office of Regional Executive Officer (REO), covering a distance of six km, a release from the Raj Nivas said.
She was accompanied during her visit to the temple by REO Kesavan and Police officials and Karaikal Municipal commissioner, it said.
Bedi had been using a cycle during her weekend visits to peripheral areas of Puducherry to meet residents, temple trustees and also to identify issues concerning the common man.
