Belgian suffers heart attack exercising on treadmill; dies

A Belgian national died in a city hotel following a cardiac arrest when he was working out on a treadmill in the gymnasium, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Lucas Leon Gilberte (50) fell down while walking on a treadmill in the hotel, they said.
He was employed with a diamond manufacturing firm.
The hotel staff immediately rushed him to a private hospital where all attempts to revive him proved futile.
The post-motem report said that Gilberte died because of cardio respiratory failure, police said.
His family members were informed and they are expected to reach Bhopal soon.
