Best wishes to people of Jharkhand on statehood day: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today wished the people of Jharkhand on their statehood day, hoping the state continues to develop in the years to come.
"On their statehood day, I extend my best wishes to the people of Jharkhand. I pray that Jharkhand continues to develop in the years to come," the Prime Minister tweeted.
Jharkhand was carved out of the southern part of Bihar on 15 November, 2000.
The BJP-ruled state is celebrating the day with a slew of foundation stone laying ceremonies and inauguration of developmental works and programmes.
