The "Formation" singer's new visual LP fuelled speculation her husband Jay Z had been unfaithful and though Lawson didn't confirm the record is autobiographical, she thinks many people will be able to relate to the themes on the record, reported Daily Mirror.
"People make it all about the cheating and betrayal and, yes, that's a part of it because that is something you have to heal from."
Lawson, whose marriage to the 34-year-old superstar's father Mathew Knowles ended in 2011 after he fathered a child with another woman, thinks people can relate to the record because everyone has been "betrayed and lied to".
