"We have arrested Nitin Sehrawat today in connection (with Singh's murder). He was one of those who had opened fire at Singh on March 29 at a religious function.
"He is the son of former MLA Nand Kishore Sehrawat. Like everybody else in the list of attackers, he, too, held a personal grudge against Singh," said a senior police official.
Nitin's is the sixth arrest in the case.
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police had on Sunday claimed to have solved the sensational murder with the arrest of five persons, including key conspirator Udaiveer alias Kaale and his PSO, who is a former ASI of Punjab Police.
Bharat Singh had received six bullets, including two in his head from close range.
A hunt is on for co-conspirator Hemant, who had provided weapons and other logistics for the attack, and at least five others, police said.
