The 73-year-old actor said he suffered the injury last night and is taking pain killers.
"No nothing to worry... I have injured my rib cage, it pains and so when I breathe it hurts. Am doing ice-pack and pain-killers, spoken to my doctor... Should take 48 hours to heal, he says. Else we do X-Ray or MRI or whatever he decides," Bachchan posted on his blog.
The "Piku" star has been shooting the film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan for sometime now.
