Muzaffarpur Chief Judicial Magistrate S P Singh had on September 21 ordered the Jodhpur jail authorities to produce Asaram before it today.
The CJM extended the time on a submission of the jail officials that they could not comply with the court's order as Asaram had been taken to Ahmedabad on remand in connection with a sexual assault case.
The complaint petition was filed by an advocate, Sudhir Ojha, on January 8 this year against Asaram for his alleged remarks that the victim should have addressed the rapists as brothers to escape the gangrape.
