The report to the Governor detailed the chain of events that happened in the aftermath of Ranvir Sena supremo's killing by unidentified gunmen on June one and the large scale violence that broke out in Ara town on the day and similar incidents in Patna during the later's funeral processions on June 2, the sources said.
The Governor had earlier demanded the report from the state government about the killing of Ranvir Sena chief and the violence and arson carried out by the sena supporters in Ara and Patna, sources said.
Director General of Police (DGP) Abhayanand and Principal Secretary (Home) Amir Subhani had held a closed-door meeting at the CM's official residence with other top officials to finalise the report.
