Minorities Affair Minister Shahid Ali Khan and his staff allegedly beat up the tractor driver and pushed him in the police station lock up, Sub Divisional Officer Pupri Akhilesh Kumar Singh said.
Locals and workers of other parties and the district tractor association staged protest in the market demanding his release.
