Of the four major cities, Patna registered 3 mm of rainfall today till 5:30 pm, while Gaya and Bhagalpur did not receive any rainfall, it said.
Purnea had recorded 2.7 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours and Patna 1 mm of rainfall, the MeT office said.
Purnea recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius followed by 34 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur, 33.4 degrees Celsius in Patna and 32.8 degrees Celsius in Gaya, the MeT office said.
Patna was the most humid place in the state today with its humidity level at 92 per cent, followed by 88 per cent at Gaya and Purnea and 87 per cent in Bhagalpur.
