Patna, which was cloudy for a major part of the day, received rains in the morning and the afternoon. Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea also received rains, the MeT office said.
Purnea registered 70 mm rainfall, maximum among major places in the state, while Patna received 12 mm rains. Gaya and Bhagalpur received 23 mm and 3 mm rains respectively.
The MeT department has predicted light to moderate rainfall for the next 24 hours across the state. Patna is likely to experience overcast condition with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
