Patna, the state capital, recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 33.2 degrees Celsius. Bhagalpur recorded the maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius and Purnea 35.0 degrees Celsius, the Met office here said.
Patna and Bhagalpur registered one degree below their normal maximum temperature while Purnea witnessed no departure from its normal maximum temperature.
Met office forecast clear sky tomorrow in Patna and Gaya, but said Bhagalpur and Purnea might witness partly cloudy sky.
