The Assamese scholar and writer's birthday will be marked by the release of a collection of stories written by her and also by others on Goswami.
Trustee of Mamoni Raisom Goswami Trust and Raisom's sister Sabita Sarma told reporters that Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was scheduled to release the book at a function at Rabindra Bhavan here.
On her first death anniversary, a statue of the celebrated writer and former Delhi University professor will be unveiled at the hospital she constructed in her ancestral place at Amranga near here, Sarma said.
Another bust statue of the litterateur would be unveiled at her residence here where the Ramayani Research Centre set up by her is housed.
The Trust would make all efforts to carry forward the works undertaken by the Research Centre, Sarma added.
