BJP appeals to Guv to make admin heads available to public

Alleging problems faced by government employees, the state BJP today appealed to Governor N N Vohra to make available to the public the administrative heads of various government departments, for redressal of grievances.
"We urge the governor to make administrative heads of the government, who have been entrusted with the authorities of cabinet ministers, available to the public so that administration become sensitive to day to day problems of the people," BJP National Convener, J-K Cell, Chander Mohan Sharma said.
He alleged that the employees of various government departments in the state were facing several problems, and that "their grievances need immediate redressal. For the last couple of months, the problems of people have not been listened to and solved."

He urged the governor to resolve the problems of the government employees, including the daily wagers and the casual employees of various departments who have not received their monthly wages.
"The public demands for reduction of freight charges and passenger fares in proportion to the decrease in the price of petroleum products," he said.
