"Congress party's silence over the execution of Afzal Guru has sent out a very dangerous message," BJP chief spokesperson and National Executive Member Jitendra Singh told reporters here.
"Congress is involved in a conspiracy with National Conference (NC) to remain silent on the Afzal Guru issue with the sole agenda of continuing in power," Singh said.
"In the midst of Budget Session of J&K State Legislative Assembly, when the two Kashmir-centric political parties NC and People's Democratic Party (PDP) are engaged in a fierce war of competitive upmanship over Afzal Guru, why is the Congress party silent even though it is a ruling coalition partner in the government?" he asked.
