Singh has also lodged a complaint regarding attack on his cavalcade allegedly by RLD workers, police said today.
According to Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Shahi, Singh had gone to Malakpur polling booth under Badaut police station to take stock of the polling process where he was allegedly manhandled.
As Singh raised objections over certain things at the polling booth, one of those present there misbehaved and manhandled him leading to a clash, the SP said.
Pathak said that Singh had demanded for security but it was not provided to him. He claimed that Congress and its alliance partner at the Centre RLD have carried out the attack out of frustration and demanded strict action against the culprits.
