The parties said that recent activities of separatist forces in the state were "dangerous" not only for Jammu and Kashmir, but also rest of India.
"As far as hoisting flags of ISIS and Pakistan is concerned, this is the act of separatist forces. But they get encouraged with the policies or approaches adopted by the PDP-BJP government.
"BJP goes on talking about Indian nationalism all over the country, but everything is compromised for lust of power in Jammu and Kashmir," CPI national council secretary Shameem Faizee said.
Terming the PDP-BJP combine as an "opportunistic" alliance, CPI(M) MP Mohammed Salim said the Narendra Modi-led Central government cannot shrug responsibility for the present situation in Jammu and Kashmir terming it as the state's internal affair.
"I think Modi Government has to answer so many things. I think the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is dangerous, not only for Jammu and Kashmir but also for the entire country. Central Government can not pass the buck saying it's a Jammu-Kashmir affair," he said.
Hardline Hurriyat Conference headed by Syed Ali Shah Geelani had called for protests after Friday prayers against the killing of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activist Altaf Sheikh by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday.
