Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani today said his party's relentless efforts have evolved into a "bi-polar polity" and no party can form the next government at Centre without support from either his party or the Congress.
"In the last 20-25 years, BJP has developed a bi-polar system in the country's politics... Without support of Congress or BJP it (is) impossible to form government at the Centre," Advani said today while addressing a huge rally here, which is the home constituency of Health and Family Welfare Minister Amar Agrawal, for the second phase of polls in the state.
Advani also dismissed the possibility of formation of Third Front for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP patriarch claimed that incumbent BJP governments in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will score a "hat trick" in Assembly elections on the lines of Gujarat.
"BJP will form government in four states - Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Our party is already doing good work in MP and Chhattisgarh, and on the lines of Gujarat we will achieve a hat trick in both the states," Advani said.
He said BJP will wrest power from Congress in Delhi and Rajasthan.
He praised both Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Raman Singh for carrying out development in ten years of their tenures in their respective states.
Advani lashed out at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the issue of price rise in the country, saying, "Even though an economist PM is at the helm, the economy of the country has collapsed.
"Manmohan Singh's government has been a worst government this country has ever seen... During UPA's tenure corruption is at its peak and price of commodities are touching sky," Advani said.
