BJP's national General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav today criticised the Hemant Soren government for its "inaction" against three of his ministers, who were under scanner in connection with separate cases.
"BJP has demanded resignation of two ministers in the UPA government in Jharkhand after their names came up in the (Ranjeet Singh Kohli alias) Rakilbul Hussain case. But no action has been taken so far," Yadav said at a press conference here.
To top it, he added, reports were published in today's newspaper about another minister having alleged links with an ultra group.
Demanding action against all the three ministers, Yadav said the government should also initiate action against all the police officials, whose names were revealed during interrogation of Kohli, the husband of Tara Shahdeo, and facing charges of deceit, exploitation and torture.
BJP's Jharkhand unit president Ravindra Rai said, "The Chief Minister has taken oath to uphold the Constitution. If the government fails to initiate action against the ministers, the people will lose faith in it.
