Addressing a joint press conference here BJP leaders Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Kanna Laxminarayana and Somu Veerraju demanded that the government shift the administration from Hyderabad to Amaravathi, being developed between Vijayawada and Guntur, within next two or three months in the interests of the people.
On the occasion, Rao has said people have been facing hardships to get their business from the government which is ruling from Hyderabad.
"Though the government is making arrangements to shift in phased manner, it is not very apt on its part. Government can set up a temporary capital may be on an area of 20 lakh sq feet are to accommodate all offices. And buildings can constructed utilising the latest construction technology in a short period of time," he added.
