The Bihar Legislative Assembly was disrupted for the second consecutive day today with an aggressive opposition creating noisy scenes on Bihar government's "insensitivity" on Uttarakhand tragedy.

As the House sat for the day to take up Question Hour, Leader of Opposition Nand Kishore Yadav demanded that Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary suspend all business and take an adjournment notice on Uttarakhand given by BJP member Ashwani Choubey, who himself escaped death in the Uttarakhand calamity.

The Speaker said he has permitted a call attention motion on the same subject hence there was no rationale in the opposition insisting on adjournment.

Dissatisfied with the Chair's ruling, the BJP MLAs trooped to the Well of the House and started raising anti-government and anti-Nitish Kumar slogans.

With BJP Legislators continued raising slogans, the ruling JD(U) members also rose from their seats in defence of Kumar and shouted at their erstwhile NDA partners to maintain discipline in the House.

While legislators of both the parties were engaged in a verbal duel, members of Congress and RJD were mute spectators.

With repeated requests to BJP MLAs to go back to their seats so that Question Hour can be taken failed to yield any result, the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 pm.
