BJP is making 'unbelievable' promises: Sheila Dikshit

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today accused BJP of making "unbelievable" promises to win people's support and asked people to vote for Congress to ensure continuity of development agenda.
"The big promises are not enough to win the heart of voters. The BJP is making unbelievable promises. The party says it will bring down rates of vegetables. Do they not know that prices of these seasonal vegetables are already going down?" she said.
Earlier today, the BJP in its manifesto promised reduction in prices of onions and tomatoes within thirty days of coming to power.
The chief minister also warned people against misleading campaign of AAP, saying "they are selling unreal dreams to befool people."

Addressing a public meeting at Shakur Basti, Dikshit also cautioned them against being misled by false claims.
"Throughout Delhi, BJP has put hoardings claiming the prices of onions and tomatoes to be Rs 100 and Rs 80. Do not trust them because the prices of these vegetables have already gone down to Rs 35-40," she said.

"Development is visible here and it's not only the infrastructural development that we talk about. Citizens in Delhi feel empowered," said Dikshit.
The chief minister also promised to boost employment opportunities by giving computer teaching institutions the status of industries.
"There is not enough land for creation of industries. Therefore, we will ensure that computer-based education is given the status of an industry to generate employment," said Dikshit.

She also took a pot shot at BJP's chief ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan for saying that 'Delhi is in ICU'.
"The BJP says it will make Delhi healthier if it comes to power, one should ask BJP that why it was not done before, why it will be done only after the elections?," she asked.
The BJP was in power in Delhi from 1993 to 1998.
"I am confident that Congress will register a huge victory in Assembly polls as people of Delhi are aware of the work we have done in past 15 years.
