BJP Manipur unit alleges change in state demographic profile

A delegation from Manipur unit of BJP today met senior party leader Murli Manohar Joshi alleging that the state is facing a change in demographic profile which could go against the local populace.
The delegation led by BJP state unit chief Chauba Singh handed over Joshi a memorandum in which it said with changing demographic profile, it is difficult to identify between the locals and immigrants.
The members of the delegation also alleged that the Congress government in the state has "failed" to maintain law and order in the state.
A statement issued by Joshi's office said the BJP veteran assured the delegation that he would hand over the memorandum to Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
