"The Lt Governor is behaving as a super king. He must be removed. I will write to the Centre against him," Udit Raj said adding that he had to wait for 3-4 days to talk to Jung to discuss "serious" public matters.
On the arrest of his supporters for allegedly assaulting North West Delhi District Magistrate Sanjay Goel in outer Delhi's Kanjhawla area yesterday, the MP accused police of acting under pressure from bureaucrats.
The alleged assault of Goel after holding him hostage at his office was caught on CCTV camera installed in his office.
The police have registered a case under sections 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 342 (wrongful confinement), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC based on Goel's complaint.
"I met Home Minister Rajnath Singh today and explained to him the incident in which an SC Morcha office bearer Parminder and four others were thrashed when they had gone to talk to the District Magistrate regarding a demolition drive in Kanjhawala area," said Raj.
"There are only 7 MPs in Delhi. If he will not talk to us, whom else will he talk to?" Raj said.
Demanding transfer and suspension of the District Magistrate of North West Delhi, the DCP of Outer Delhi and the SHO of Kanjhawala, the MP accused police of "betraying" him.
The BJP MP also alleged that Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain had visited Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and "pressurised" doctors to discharge Parminder who was later arrested.
Demanding a free and fair inquiry into the whole incident, Raj said he will stage a demonstration in Kanjhawala if the "guilty" officers were not transfered and suspended soon.
"Udit Raj's party has its own government .If he wants to remove the LG, he can. Why is he speaking to the media? He should directly talk to the Prime Minister," Sisodia said here.
