Assailing opposition Congress leaders' "misleading statements" during Lok Sabha campaign, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today assured that her government would not stop any public welfare schemes brought by previous governments.
Due to apprehensions of defeat in the Lok Sabha polls, some senior Congress leaders were saying that BJP government would stop the welfare schemes in Rajasthan, Raje said and assured the people that she would not do so.
"I assure everyone that neither the old age pension nor the reservation given to people under various categories would be stopped," she said at public meetings on her campaign trail in Dausa, Alwar and Bharatpur seats.
Raje asserted that after the election, BJP would form a government under the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi, and the state government would expand the sphere of welfare schemes.
The party would complete its 'Mission 25' to win all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state, she claimed, adding Modi will make new India.
Besides the state government would also enhance and expand MNREGA schemes, and bonus of wheat procurement would be given to farmers on fresh crop, she said.
She appealed public not to believe Congress leaders because they were making false statement as they were feeling insecure about the Lok Sabha elections in the entire country.
Congress always believed in making announcements of schemes but never worked on them, and it was BJP that fulfilled dreams of public at large, she said.
