Accusing a Trinamool Congress MP of having links with a banned terror outfit in Bangladesh, BJP secretary Siddharth Nath Singh today asked West bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee to come clean before her Dhaka visit on the "anti-national and anti-Bangladesh" activities that going on in the soil of Bengal.
"Reports have come out in the Indian media about the involvement of a TMC party MP having links with leaders of funadmentalist organisation JMB of Bangaldesh. Money too was tranferred to JMB leaders in Bangladesh for fuelling terror activities. We have heard that Mamata Banerjee is all set to visit Bangladesh. We want her visit to be succesful and we also want that India and Bangladesh have friendly relations," Singh told reporters here.
"But my question is will you please explain if Pakistan gives shelter to an Indian citizen who has spread terror here, will India have a friendly or a hostile relationship with Pakistan. In the same way, will you please explain the role of your MP before stepping into the soil of Bangladesh," Singh said.
Banerjee will undertake a three-day visit to Dhaka from February 19 to 21 on an invitation by Bangladesh government.
