An image of a faulty metro pillar in Pakistan tweeted by senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, as that of an overbridge in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, today raised the hackles of the ruling BJP.
Even as Singh apologised for the gaffe and said he should have checked it up before tweeting the image, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ridiculed him by stating "I do not know why he felt that bungling like during his rule is still going on".
Apologising for the oversight, the senior Congress leader stated, "My apologies. One of my friends sent it to me. My fault I didn't check up."
Chouhan, posting a screen shot of Singh's post alongside, tweeted, "I do not know why he felt that bungling like during his rule is still going on. This is one who could not construct the bridge properly on tweeter, let alone the land."
