BJP MLA Babu Singh Rathore raised the issue of appointment of the lecturers and teachers in the university during the Question Hour and alleged that these were not made as per the UGC guidelines.
Other BJP members, including Rajendra Rathore and Vasudev Devnani, alleged that several irregularities were committed to give backdoor entry to the relatives of the Chief Minister and Congress leaders in the university.
They stormed to the well and demanded a clarification from the government.
In his question, Rathore had asked from the government about the process of appointment, eligibility criteria, any modification in the criteria and any complaint regarding irregularity in appointment of the lecturers in JNV University-Jodhpur.
Amid the din, Parliament Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal said the matter was sub judice and will be decided by the court and the government will follow the direction.
