Srinivasan submitted a memorandum with the Chief Minister at their meeting at the secretariat here, her office said in a statement.
The demands included desilting of Siruvani, Bhavani, Azhiyaru and Pillur dams, protecting Noyyal river and implementing the Avinashi-Athikadavu scheme in an alternative manner to cut down on implementation costs.
BJP also sought restoration of Kausika river in Coimbatore and steps to prevent Kerala from constructing check dams on Bhavani river, which caters to drinking water and irrigation needs of Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode districts.
