"We demand setting up of a first class cricket academy in Jammu under BCCI's supervision," BJP leader and in-charge of BJYM in Jammu and Kashmir Yudhvir Sethi said.
Sethi along with BJYM state president Ravinder Raina and former women cricket player Ruchi Chouhan presented cricket kits to young players here.
Sethi said setting up of the academy will provide budding cricketers to hone their skills and will also help the state to create jobs.
Former member of the Jammu and Kashmir Women cricket team Ruchi Chouhan asked players to learn basics of the game and emulate great cricketers like like Sachin Tendulker and Rahul Dravid.
